Hey there Chatties!
So, I totally did stop posting after my wedding. It was wrong and selfish of me to keep all my wedding knowledge to myself.
I did write one really long post after my wedding but all I did was complain so I never posted it. There were just so many things after my wedding that I wasn't happy with, that I wanted to change, regretted that I was just depressed thinking about it and couldn't come back here and talk about it. I'm not ungrateful for everything my parents did, Scott's parents did and everything Scottie did for me, I was just disappointed in myself.
I just went back and read some archives and read Murph's post about hiding after the wedding (circa October 28th) and she's right...chatties do need us married girls' wisdom and thoughts.
Let me say that nothing terrible happened at my wedding to make me unhappy. And I'm not unhappy with Scottie or being married. I was upset that we had a HUGE fight that reduced me to tears about a half hour before our rehearsal dinner. I was upset that on the wedding day I didn't like my dress and wished I had made my second choice dress "the one." I was upset that my photographer was an ashole (and that I did post about.) I was upset that I didn't wear a better outfit to my post wedding brunch. But most of all, I'm upset that I work with brides every single day of my life and I let things on my own wedding slip through the cracks. I still really haven't forgiven myself. (I know I sound like a huge baby right now and there are so many other things going on in the world that I could be upset about but weddings are my everyday, my routine so MY wedding day was so important to me!)
I had DIY projects that never got done. And some that did get done and never made it to the reception. I didn't buy a cake topper until the day before the wedding and because of my procrastination didn't get what we wanted. And there was another huge part of my reception that I wasn't happy with but I'm not going to discuss it.
The best thing I did on my wedding day though was put on jeans and a wifebeater with my veil on and dance the last 40 minutes in that ensemble. My 16 year old cousin even taught me the Soulja Boy. I also ate Froot Loops at my wedding. These little things make me the crazy, wacky person that I am and those things I love.
So, now that I've rambled and I'm too lazy to proofread I will post. And, I will make an effort to return more frequently and offer advice to the un-weds like those before me did for me.

Luby and I are taking our engagement pictures on Sunday, and we're super psyched. Our photographer, Dave Bibeault, has tons of awesome ideas. But using BostonBride as an example, we're starting our day at Fenway. Luby and I met at one of his baseball games, and every spring, summer and fall since, I've supported him as he took his place on the mound. It was fitting to honor his love of baseball with a few themed pictures.
